Listening to music from the 60's set the mood for combining simplistic shapes, flower power, and primary colors of that decade.The background is hand painted fabric that began to compete with the floral motifs so once the fabric was scanned, it was desaturated and toned down. The texture of the fabric background continued to show even though the color was taken out.
